Rabbits, a Tea Party, and Honey Lemon Tea

We were barely open to visitors this week—
quietly holding a tea party inside with the little rabbits instead ☕ (shh)

The natural light in the space is always beautiful,
somehow more calming than when the lamps are on.

On the days we're closed and tucked inside working,
with the whole mood of the place to ourselves,
I feel a genuine gratitude rise up—for this rare little luxury.

Into a Ceylon black tea, I drop slices of organic yellow lemon
from Dodo Wetland School,
and wait for the warmth and the tea's fragrance to coax the lemon's scent out.

Before the first sip, a long, deep breath of everything rising from the pot—
then a spoonful of sweet, fragrant wildflower honey.

And just like that, the weariness of work
turns, quite precisely, into the meaning of a life 🐰
