The White-Eye's Little Nest

A little nest, fallen from the sky, landed on the lawn by our door.
In these years of growing alongside my children, I've come to love nature-collecting too 🌿

Finding that the knowledge in books has been in life all along—
and beauty needs no far-off searching.

Children always find the beautiful in nature,
then come running toward you, eyes shining:
"Mama, look!"

The white-eye's little nest,
kept in a small wooden box of some age—
waiting for the next pair of curious little eyes.
